Dearest Readers,
Please forgive the insane nature of my previous post. Let's put it under the category of "Mothering Guilt" (raise your hand if you've ever suffered under its effects). Nate and I will be heading to the east coast in a few weeks. While he is discussing the interiors of other people's heads, necks, ears, throats, nasal glands and sinus features - I will be sight-seeing, reading whatever I want, and sleeping in. I will be partaking of room-service, I will find the nearest spa, and I will not cut my trip short.

As I thought about it again. I was looking at it at my 30 year perspective and missing the grandkids. So go..have fun. And who knows if Jimmy will even participate in the Primary program.:)
How funny, I wouldn't call it mom insanity at all! I didn't respond because I thought about it and realized I would be puzzling over it too. Anyway, if east coast includes NYC, definitely let me know. I'd love to catch up!

Sarah..gg here. I have not had time for much email or blogs this past month..but..just read yours.Instantly thought of Nate and all he missed in these past years but I would battle anyone who even thought he was a misfit Dad.
I personally think your husband needs this treat of husband/wife doing an Adult Primary Program by going, getting to know each other in some spots that have been missed the past ten years.
Think of it..this trip (seven days?)could make up for seven lost Friday Night Couple Dates.. with him in a lab or hovering over a very sick patient (both noble things to do) and you alone at home with two darlings reading then a good night book, tickling their toes, telling them how much you love them, and Daddy does too,etc (all this very noble things to do too)..but basically you and Nate were alone those nights then, giving up Couple-Date-Nite Time.
Go!!! Grandpa Jim would echo GO! also. But if any negative comment, just send me their email address. I know exactly how to fix such.
Now, either set of Grandparents they have to tend them simply just perfect--. Much love and for goodness sakes..buy a new perfume..
