little miss sunshine

Yesterday - Freezing with frigid, brisk wind
Today - Sunny, bright, breezy, birds were even singing

Yesterday - Grumpy, stressed, overwhelmed with all that must be done to sell the house and move
Today - Happy, actually enjoying myself, far-less tension in my shoulders

What a difference a day makes! And also an attitude. One main problem for me is seeing how all of this will possibly come together. I now accept that it is not all in my hands (nor in Nate's and certainly not G or J!). We feel strongly moving to SD is the thing we should do and that the time has come to say goodbye to STL.

It is said that faith precedes the miracle. So today I put my heavy winter blanket away. It is starting to be spring here, at least in my house.

good for you! i imagine that would be stressful with the house sale, etc. but if anyone can do it, you can! plus, you have a great place. who wouldn't want it? how are you advertising it? kev and i could put a flyer up at slu if you want. it seems like a place a young professional couple would be interested and goodness knows there are enough of them around:)

We're really living parallel lives in some ways right now! Thanks for the reminder to breathe, and let things fall into place that I can't control. I'd really like to put the puzzle together, but I don't have all the pieces! Kind of reminds me of doing puzzles with my kids - they're all obsessed with putting in the last piece and each hide multiple pieces in their hands until it's time. I don't know why this move couldn't draw some serious parallels, although I guess Heavenly Father wouldn't be holding on to them just to frustrate me, but to see how well I trust Him to finish the picture. :-) Hope things are going well! We'll be out there in a couple of weeks for house hunting, it would be fun to see you then!

Hey Sarah, thanks for commenting on my blog. I was on vacation when you commented so I'm just getting caught up. Your blog is very fun. I have a first grader too, who can also be less than graceful.

We sure love having Keith and Lindsay nearby!
