choices

I'm interested in your opinion. I have a chance to get out of town with Nate - with NO children. I'm excited about this and I think the kids are too (they will have lots of attention from some grandparents during that time). However, by skipping town I will also be missing out on the kids' Primary program (this is the children's service that the kids 3-11 do once a year - it involves speaking parts and lots of songs). This will be Jimmy's first one (although he has sung with the kids at other times during the year - Mother's Day being one). If you had a chance to be in my shoes would you
a: buy new shoes and skip town and let the grandparents revel in the kids' glory
b: buy a new plane ticket, cut your trip short, and be there for the event
c: cancel everything with Nate, see the kids perform, and then buy lots of new shoes with your "saved" dough

Absolutely go on the trip, stay the whole time, and have the grandparents record the program! Hands down the BEST choice!!

Are you kidding me?!?!
**A**
Grandparents love primary programs, and you love alone time! Buy the shoes, buy the ticket, get out of here!

As a former parent of the young tots. Come home early and see the program. You can't record it in church and you can't recapture the memory.
But that's me looking at it from a 30 year perspective.

For heaven's sake, the kids can show off for the grandparents. We will be very excited to be their fans this time. Seriously, go, STAY and have fun and STOP WORRYING!

Take the trip, for sure!!! I know it is sad to miss the first primary program but he will have many more to come. It is not very often you get to spend REAL quality time with your spouse and nurture that relationship and Grandparents do Love to fill in for those things. No question, the trip!! And have fun!!!
